This is KDP version 3.01 for Windows

You may not re-distribute this version of KDP without my written permission.

WOPTICS directory instructions:

1. Installation is performed by copying the WOPTICS.EXE file to the root
directory of your hard disk and then typing:

               woptics -d -s(password)

A new directory called WOPTICS will be created and all files will be copied
into that directory or a directory beneath it.

2. The KDP program manual and tutorial are in the files MANUAL.DOC and
   TUTORIAL.DOC are downloadable from the IFIA or OSA ftp sites.

3. You must rebuild KDP.EXE before you can run it here.

   Rebuilding KDP

1. Install the Lahey LF90 copiler on your computer. If you don't have one
   call 702-831-2500 and buy one.

2. Install I.S.S Interacter for Windows on your computer. If you don't have
   one call 702-831-2500 and buy one. It is the only way to rebuild KDP.

3. Go to the WOPTICS directory.

4. Type MAKEWOPT to compile all subroutines which are out of date.

5. Type WLN to link KDP

6. Now you have a new copy of KDP to run.

NOTE: All KDP source code is in the directories beneath WOPTICS/SOURCE
or WOPTICS/SPURCE/HARDWARE.

To run the new KDP.EXE you:

go to the WOPTICS directory and double click on KDP.EXE.
Run the tutorial exercises to get started.
